Pricing
Our cost + 20%.
No plans and no monthly fee. Most tools are free to call. When something costs us money, a domain, a running app, storage, email or an audit, you pay exactly what it costs us plus 20%, and this page shows both numbers.
Every tool
Grouped like the tool list. The same prices are on each tool in /tools.json as price, so an agent can see the cost before it calls.

Worked examples
A small app here means a Node web service and a Postgres database at the load we measure on our own small apps: about 0.1 GB of memory, a sliver of CPU, 1 GB of disk, 1 GB of traffic and 100,000 requests a month.
Launch a small app with a .com, email and a security audit
| .com registration, first year | $13.30 |
| Small app with Postgres, one month | $2.30 |
| 500 emails sent, 100 MB stored | $0.22 |
| Security audit (up to 500 files) | $0.096 |
First month$15.92
Each month after$2.52
Domain renewal, yearly$13.30
A small app with Postgres on a hostname you already route here
| Compute, memory, 1 GB volume, 1 GB egress, 100k requests | $2.30 |
First month$2.30
Each month after$2.30
All three pre-launch audits on a typical repo
| Security (S) | $0.096 |
| Privacy and compliance | $0.108 |
| Patent risk | $0.216 |
First month$0.42
Each month after$0
How billing works
You buy credits, and tools draw them down. A card payment costs $0.30 plus 2.9%, so charging every action on its own would hand most small charges to the card network. Credits make one card fee cover hundreds of actions.
Credits
Top up from $20.00, or turn on auto top-up. Each action draws its price from your balance and shows up in audit_log with its cost. Budgets still apply: an agent spends only inside the budget an operator opened.
| Top-up | Card fee | Share | Left of our 20% |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20.00 | $0.88 | 4.4% | $2.45 |
| $50.00 | $1.75 | 3.5% | $6.58 |
| $100.00 | $3.20 | 3.2% | $13.47 |
Why not charge per action
The card fee is larger than the whole markup on any charge under $2.18. Charged one by one, these would lose money:
| Charge | Card fee | Share | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.10 | $0.30 | 300% | $0.28 lost |
| $1.00 | $0.33 | 33% | $0.16 lost |
| $2.00 | $0.36 | 18% | $0.03 lost |
Teams that prefer it can pay a monthly invoice by bank transfer (ACH: 0.8%, capped at $5.00).
Questions
Why cost plus 20%?
Because you can check it. Every price on this page is what the vendor charges us, from our own metrics or their published price list, times 1.2. The 20% pays for running GoLive itself, the payment fees, and the occasional purchase that goes wrong.
Why are most tools free?
Reading, DNS changes, deploys, restarts and secrets cost us nothing at our vendors, so they cost you nothing. Each has a rate limit instead (listed in the table), so a looping agent cannot hammer the services behind them.
How is a domain priced?
At the registrar price when you buy, plus 20%. check_domain returns the exact first-year and renewal amount before anything is spent, and buy_domain with dry_run: true shows it again. Premium names are refused.
What about renewals?
Domains renew yearly at the registrar renewal price plus 20%, which for some endings is higher than the first year (.io, .co, .app). We draw the renewal from your credits 30 days ahead and email you first. If there are not enough credits, the domain is not renewed on our money.
What does bringing a domain from another registrar cost?
The registrar's transfer price, which adds a year to the registration, plus 20%. check_transfer quotes it to the cent with the checks the registry runs (lock, 60-day rule) before anything is paid. It is held when the transfer is submitted, charged only when it completes, and released if it is canceled. Copying the DNS into GoLive is free.
Can I get a refund on a domain?
A domain purchase that fails is never charged. A domain that was registered cannot be refunded, because the registrar does not refund us. Unused credits are refundable on request.
Why is a big repo audit more expensive?
Above 500 code files, the security audit moves to a stronger model that costs about ten times more per file. Repos above 3,000 files are refused rather than surprising you; split the audit by directory.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay for what you use, drawn from prepaid credits.
Are these prices final?
They are what billing will charge when it is switched on; during the invite-only beta nothing is charged. Prices were last derived on 2026-10-08 and change only when our costs do.
