Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete the data GoLive holds about you or your business at any time. This includes data GoLive received through Meta's platform when you connected WhatsApp.
How to ask
- Email ops@golivemcp.com with the subject Delete my data, from the email address linked to your GoLive account if you have one.
- Say what to delete: your whole account, or one part (for example a phone number, a WhatsApp Business Account, or the messages with one recipient). Include the account or API key label, and the phone number or WhatsApp Business Account id if it is about messaging. Never send an API key itself.
- If you are not a GoLive customer but received or sent messages through a business that uses GoLive, send us your phone number and the business's name or number.
We confirm we received the request within 3 business days, may ask you to prove the account or number is yours, and complete it within 30 days. The confirmation email includes a reference code you can quote to check the status.
What is deleted
- Your API keys and OAuth grants, which ends all access.
- WhatsApp signups and connection records (WhatsApp Business Account id, phone number, status), and WhatsApp and SMS message text and metadata.
- GitHub connection records, budgets, and the audit log entries for your account.
What we keep, and why
- Billing records (amounts, dates, what was charged), for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Opt-out (STOP) records for a phone number while the sending number is still in use, so that person is never messaged again. They are deleted when the sending number is released.
- Copies held by Meta, Telnyx or other providers under their own policies. We ask them to delete where their service allows it, and tell you where you must ask them directly.
Removing GoLive from WhatsApp yourself
You can also cut GoLive's access to your WhatsApp Business Account at any time: in Meta Business Suite, open Settings, then Accounts, WhatsApp accounts, choose the account, open Partners, and remove GoLive. After that GoLive can no longer send or receive messages for that account. Then email us to delete what GoLive already holds.
